Book design for a research project that analyses and explores Japanese poster design and aesthetics. Building on a fascination with the layout possibilities of the Japanese writing system, the project’s main focus lies in the use of typography, as well as layout and composition. The front cover presents a summary of the examined posters, while the back expresses all of the syllables in the Japanese language.
